    Up early and catch the bus into the city, then trek up to Edinburgh castle, Very impressive which is just as well as it was a bloody hard slog up the hill to get there!!     The flight up to Aberdeen is on time and uneventful. They even give us a hot breakfast. We might have appreciated it even more if we had not already had one on the flight from Delhi.

    The arrival at Dyce was also fine except someone moved the airport exit door while we were away but we managed to find the new way out.

    ... to buy me another and I said no thanks for tonight, so they got one anyway and you know what they did? They signed the receipt 'paid but not had', and one of the bar staff did the same, so I now have a drink in the waiting for me for when I feel like I need it! How cool is that?

    So yeah, if that gives you any idea of how I go the bar, you may get an idea of why I like travelling alone.

    ... We said to her that we'd visited Deans, so she gave us a container of her own shortbread, which I think is nicer than the Deans.
