      • Got car sick in Yakima and threw up in my car :(
      • Had to rent a new car because the smell was so bad.
      • Had to pay $100 for a deep cleaning of the car.
      • Grabbed gas here at a local 76 gas station for $44.19.
      • Grabbed ice and food for $12.
      • It took me 4 hours and 2 minutes to get here
      • Not a good day in Yakima. ...

A long day on the road today...

It rained pretty much all night last night. Not a great sleep with the traffic from the highway, the rain on the roof and the furnace going on and off all night plus worrying we would run out of propane. Woke up early and eventually got up and went across to McD's to use their WiFi and get some coffee and breakfast.

Got the phone activated with no major problems. So we are now cellular. We even ...

... sites and got one of the grumpiest park employees I have ever talked to. This person was ill tempered, short with answers and just plain rude; I was told we had better hurry because he was closing in 45 minutes.

This experience actually turned out to be a positive thing because, needless to say, I continued to search the Woodall’s for other campgrounds and wound up with a person who was just the opposite personality ...
