Drove down to Mount Rainier with Fabi's friends (Mary, Roger & Michelle) and went up to view it in a cable car. Breathtaking views of this snow-capped mountain. Ate at restaurant at 9000 feet.
Could see Mount St Helens and Mount Baker (180 miles away) from up there. Drove onto hot, dry, agricultural Yakima. Toe now really in ...

There were root veggies, but instead of them being roast potatoes and pumpkin, they were candied yams and jacket potatoes. There were also croissanty-ish type rolls on the table and beautiful home-made jams to go with them.

It was all very tasty and very filling and ...

    Orange Juice & Tooth Paste

A travel blog entry by centrallutheran on Jun 21, 2010

We hit Yakima's city limits at about 9:30 last evening.

This morning I went about my normal (American) morning routine: stumbling half asleep from my bedroom to the kitchen, I grabbed a bowl, spoon and glass from the cupboard; milk and Orange Juice from the refrigerator; I poured myself a bowl of cereal, doused it in milk and poured a tall glass of OJ. I carried it all over to my table, where I sat down to enjoy breakfast. Everything went fine until I took ...
