The next day was our day to leave, so after a final farewell to those out at the Ranch and a huge lunch at Olive Garden with Matt's dad, we piled back into our van and headed north to Spokane. The scenery along the way was beautiful and vast. All through the journey we were hoping that with our climb in altitude and our northerly travels we would find a bunch of snow, but it was not to be (at least not yet!)
