... best slumber of the trip, we awoke to Orion looking down, the sun rising in the east, and LA glowing in the west.
We broke camp and set sail for San Diego.
BTW: For those who have been worrying about the fate of the tow bar, we finally got all the pieces we needed and it's all fixed and good to go.
... then drove straight to LA and arrived at Claudia & Tom's around 3:45 pm. We were welcomed with open arms and I guess our little adventure is taking a break. We will visit with friends and relatives of mine here and fly out to Milwaukee on the 6th of June for our niece Robyn's wedding. That should be a great party!

We spent the day in the Joshua Tree National Park. You can tell that we’ve done quite some hiking the last weeks as going up back to the rim takes as long as going down. Another beautiful day with rewarding views. Next stop is Flagstaff a small town in Arizona. Like Durango quite a nice town but as it has a University you can feel the Student Vibes here. Then on to Sedona. A beautifully situated village ...
