Boy are we thankful to be home! We made it to the house around 7:00 PM CST Saturday night. I'll leave the drama for later in the post and just continue with the adventures where I left off . . . warning, this will be a super long post to make up for it all. :)

... Thank goodness for that as I am one of those unfortunate people who just cannot sleep on aircraft. Margaret on the other hand could sleep on a barbed wire fence and had no trouble drifting off. The flight was otherwise uneventful, very smooth and of course very long.

Our first night we booked into a hotel near the airport. Won't open window as it is right beside the freeway. Dinner was a big plate of nachos and drinks in a lively pub.

Tomorrow is a new adventure. We pick up the shuttle car at 9, then travel north to the Hill Country.
