Spring ! and the Mammoth Cave

While in Bowling Green we went on a tour of Mammoth Caves National Park. Almost 400 miles have been surveyed in the Mammoth Cave system. The tour was only 3/4 miles but included about 500 steps so we are pretty sore today. We were kind of disappointed, we have seen prettier caves. To be fair we did only see 3/4 miles of it.

We also went to the National Corvette Museum. The GM plant where they build the Corvette is right next door.

The one we selected was similar to tours done in the caves 100 years ago by lantern light and show off some of the caves most popular areas.

They will try to scare you a bit with "Please don't do this tour if you ...
