... Confirmed in Barcelona and Munich re my Aeroplan being in the system.

Time for North American inefficiencies to shine, more particularly Canadian. The Air Canada flight was late from Toronto which ultimately delayed the Munich departure by 40M. At least the chance for wifi.

Hunger got the better of us.. There was a small Cafe in the area so we went over there in search of sustenance...

Had an executive decision to make: explore the other side of the Palacio Bellas Artes as planned or, bearing in mind my new buddy Montezuma, stay in and work on the blog. Opted for the former, Imodium consumed as a safety precaution.

Over to and through the Plaza Alameda. In three years, I had never walked through the area. It is a large greenspace, very quiet in the early hours of ...

... Off we go along hwy 69 which is dark, cold, and travels right beside this deer sanctuary/ hunting grounds. 85MPH with this forest flying by and dead deer littering the hwy sure keeps a guy alert. I would have rather tried my luck with no cops and lots off bad guys in Detroit. We pull into the driveway a little after 1:30 am with just over 1050km logged on the day. The grand total I have on my bike for this trip is 9961 km. 16/17 days. It's good to be ...
