    ... were there for almost an hour. The other car came worse off and had to be towed - thank goodness for the huge American-looking 'truck' (ute) which we were in! It did put a bit of a damper on our day though sadly, not exactly an expected turn of events.

    less than a week to go. Rachelle and I have sold, rented and stored most of the **** that we've accumulated in our 27 years on this planet. Don't miss much but my beloved V-dub and the cat Shmoo whom we've banished to Labrador via truck because he's bitten all potential babysitters here in Ontario.     ... an open one and would be no cause for a claustrophobic outbreak. Relieved, I happily pushed the intercom button for the security guy to operate that lift. What came now I was seriously not prepared for: He asked me why I needed the elevator? Could I not find help from someone to carry the bag down the stairs? ...The lift was only for people with disabilities, he informed me. EXCUSE ME?!?! With that ton of a suitcase, do I not look disabled to you?!

    Excited to be writing Gaspé again as the place name!! It's 5.30am and am waiting for my transfer bus... This time next week I'll be on the journey back... Not sure how I feel about that!
