It's kind of like driving out to Tswawassen Ferry terminal in Vancouver. Troncencho really only has a bunch of empty office buildings and parkades on it. I have no idea why there is nothing there. A trip to the top of the 100m high Campanile belltower which stood in the corner of the square was much more our thing. Today the weather turned good again after a foggy and drizzly evening last night. We took a boat out to the island of Moreno, which is famous for glass.
We saw someone making glass but weren't allowed to take pictures.
The island was less crowded than in the main part of Venice, but still a lot of people.

Half an hour later, we had arrived at St. Mark’s Square where we followed Ernesta to the “Gran Caffe Chioffa” situated close to the Grand Canal. Several musicians were already playing beautiful Italian music near the restaurant’s entrance giving a romantic mood to the whole setup!
