... saw a little trattoria off the beaten track and wandered in. A little white wine and a sit down were great. I think the waiter was disappointed we didn't order a meal!! The ceiling was amazing - all wooden beams and all hung with different jugs. In the next room there were pans hanging up there - made for a weird photo. Then home we went. We woke up on our overnight train in Verona, and then transferred to our last train to Venice. Of course, no day can go without travel troubles, so I will expand on the events that took place next.
