The museum houses some pieces from that day, including the last column, this was the very last piece of the building removed during the recovery efforts and was written on and had photos of those that had died, also the numbers of civilians and emergency service workers lost.     Wednesday 3rd September 2014, Day 35 of our 50 day holiday: Late start again - caught the tube uptown to Museum Mile which runs along the west side of Central Park.     ... No customs when we land! Awesome!) The 7 hr flight was a little bumpy, and I didn't feel great when we landed. I do not care for flying in planes much. It plays with my nerves, and I hate landing! On the plus side, we found a few good movies, including draft day! Even Sara liked it pretty well! The meal of chicken curry wasn't half bad either, just a little rich for a bumpy 7 hr flight. We landed in JFK with a 4 hr layover. It was then delayed an hour. ...

    ... We made it to the bright lights. Never in my life have I felt more like a moth. Although the weather was such that we couldn't see the top of the buildings the atmosphere was interesting.
