... shop lined with paintings. I found a cute little array of three paintings of the city, bartered for it, and gaily skipped home, new painting in hand! I cannot wait to showcase it in my room! I should have taken a picture of my painting, but didn't think about it, and now it is currently packaged for the long journey home. So, you'll all have to wait with baited breath to see the photo! Don't worry, I think you can do it!

The next stage of the journey was relatively uneventful, although we decided that we needed some lunch, having missed the opportunity to get a snack during a stopover in Berlin, so we went to the dining car and ordered omelettes. As we got towards Dresden, we noted a few pools ...

... hall called Pivovarsky Dum. We hung out there for a while and tried some of their beers. Had to order some food to go with it - we tried potato pancakes and pork, dumplings and gravy. Probably would taste brilliant if done properly but it was really basic pub food where everything seems to be deep-fried! Chris got a beer taster set - the dark, wheat and coffee beer were good. They seem to produce a few fruit flavoured beers - we dont recommend the banana or nettle beer. Smells good but tastes ...
