... It lead us down a paved road, then a dirt road past some houses and finally into a field. We had to climb over the farmers fence (a ladder was provided) and a sign warned us to mind the cattle-leave only but footprints. It was the most random path but we enjoyed walking through the fields that had the ocean to our left and mountains to our right. Kilarney Castle and Dunmore Caves
We stopped by Kilarney castle (as it is another heritage site and we were trying to make the most of our cards). It was nice, part of the same family (the Butlers) as some of the other sites. You can see it was lived in until recently. The rooms are all very well decorated and preserved, and they had the biggest toilet I've ever seen in a house.
