... a drink at the in house bar. The bar had an interesting name though, Saraswati Bar. Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of education. Hehehe Well, the bar was very cosy and nice and had a very good band. Just had a couple of drinks while enjoying the music performance.

Later, we retired to our rooms as we have another long day tomorrow.

... finishing at the palace, we drove to the smaller of the two palaces (it seemed bigger to me, but oh well) - Kasunanan Palace. This palace is interesting in that the space between the inner and outer walls has been opened to the public and there are now houses, shops and roads filling every square inch of the space.

There were also chicken chicks dyed in many different bright colours (looked like an assortment of sweets for children) all waiting to be bought in buckets and many other animals in bad conditions. The choice was to just push it from your mind as something you can't do anything about or get a bit upset by it, which kim did, but kept a brave face.



After a cup of tea and a cracker that tasted like a pork ...
