Shortish drive today but heavy traffic and long delay for (60 minutes) while they paved a roundabout through which highways go in all directions, obviously they have not heard of 'night roadworks'. Lancaster is quite pretty but seems more residential in the downtown area than commercial or retail. The ride out into the farms on a back road was a reminder of Laura Ingalls Little House on the Praire. Everyone was so much nice to us and made us feel welcome. It is now 88 degrees and humid so we head back to campsite. At 3pm we head over to see the musical play Noah. It is quite religious but probably the most dramatic scene set we have ever experienced. With the animals and the surround setting of the Ark stage this is a must see!
After the show we go for a traditional Amish dinner and have Meat loaf and mashed potatoes and roast beef and mashed potatoes! Good meal and cheap!
... stuff.. like canned everything, baked goods and meats!
Have 2 fantastic corned beef on rye sandwiches and iced tea for $11 for lunch at a Deli!
Take our goods back to the MH then head out on our bikes to explore the countryside and go to a farm that is famous for home made ice cream!
