... seas were variable through our 4hour 20 minute trip. They ranged anywhere from winds of 5 - 22kts. Elyse was nervous but composed. She looked beautiful as she had a wonderful young lady named Elspeth doing her makeup and hair. Elyse danced well but regretfully out of 118 dancers, she was not recalled to dance her set. ... learning some french during my summer when I had time, but all I can really say is "I'm lost" (je suis perdu), "I eat an apple" (Je mange une pomme) and "A black cat" (Un chat noir). I can thank Duolingo for teaching me that! Duolingo, the app that's always teaching me useless phrases that I will probably not have to use, but hey at least I can say "I'm lost." ... the local bike path, it felt great to get all this exercise in, we will endeavour to keep it up! That evening, Grandad took us to Providence station once again, to catch a train to the airport. We had to spend the night there, not pleasant. Our flight was at 5:30, next stop Bogota, Colombia.
