... just about come to the end of our little New England tour and have travelled through 6 the moment we are in Newport, Rhode Island...home to some pretty rich folk and some serious boats!

The weather has been great, blue skies and sunny days so we have been blessed. Back to Boston tomorrow for a week then On to New York...

... and then we were off to do the Cliff Walk, a five kilometre coastal walk along the front of the cliffside mansions. It was an impossibly beautiful day, with the breakers breaking due to the swell from ex-hurricane Joaquin, and super light winds.

... to Newport, a very upmarket place, to have a walk along the ocean called the Cliff Walk. It took us past many mansions that were overlooking the sea, and was very enjoyable indeed. After that we went to the other side of the island to have another wee walk before heading for lunch in Newport. That evening we had Grandad's famous pork tenderloin, delicious as always.

... this industry (this is obviously made more poignant by the fact it is essentially the same industry I'm preparing to go into, be it not in America). I won't talk to much about the concert, only that it was truly incredible, and DEFINITELY worth the trip down :) Whilst I was in LA I also visited Venice Beach, which seems is the haven for LA's boho and hippy population. My experience here was being offered 'medical' marijuana, and somehow ending up in marketing ...
