Chris hasn't been feeling the greatest the last few days so it was time to go to the doc. Even he agreed! It was moving day so we packed up, drove to the next campground, a quick set up and then to the doc. Without an MRI it's not 100% conclusive but the doc figures he has diverticulitis. He has 2 different antibiotics to take and his diet is to be fluids for the next 2 ...
Busy day today in Boston with so much to see. We really should have spent more time here but managed to get to the #1's on our list. The day started with the drive into Boston and parking. The first parking lot we saw we turned in. As we were going down the ramp we saw a sign "Max height 6'3". Oh oh, that's not good. We couldn't remember the exact height of the truck but knew we were close. But close over? or under? ...
... something in his hand but it sure didn't look like the sway bar! Seems there are a lot of treasures to be found on the side of the highways. He did have the sway bar with a few bumps, but it was wrapped in a black and white zebra patterned bra. We fixed the bar, attached it, the bra wasn't my size so disposed of it, and we were back on the road to Boston.
Ended the day with quiet reading in thunderstorms.
... in Colt State Park, and then down to Bristol harbour. There we saw a boat that had picked a fight with a stone pier and lost during Hurricane Irene, beautiful boat, lots of damage. That evening Eilidh and I played a spot of tennis, Grandad also joined us for a quick set of Canadian Doubles (2 vs 1).
On our last day in Bristol, Eilidh and I got the bikes out again for a wee 11 mile ride up ...
... where I will meet up with the lovely Christopher Carter. We will then make our way to Naigara Falls, and then our trip will finish in New York City. I might blog before the end of the trip, or I might just wait untill I get back and give you a round up of the last 2 weeks then. But for now, I think this is enough to be going on, don't you? Once again, I'm very impressed if you managed to read through all this in one sitting, bravo you. See you all surprisingly soon! ...
