    ... confronted by the concierge that we were trespassing or he would have to charge us. We just mentioned that we wanted to head to the town so he let us pass.     ... here. We have a sitting room in our room, downstairs a bar and more sitting rooms. This is my idea of a vacation. We unloaded our luggage and left for Kylemore Abbey. Hard to believe that people actually lived there. Now it is owned by Benedict Nuns. Not much open to the public though, so I was a bit disappointed. The gardens are beautiful. Wish I had a gardner.     ... It conjured up images of gloomy skies, days spent crammed inside Harold in escape of the rain, flaming redhead drunks listening to U2 and a northern hating south and southern hating north. Laura was convinced otherwise and since arrival I have been turned 180 in my views.
