Today was our last day in NYC, We went out for brekky (I got to pick) and had a last look around before catching 2 hour train to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. ... hotel to dry off a bit after our rainy day before heading over to What If for dinner. This restaurant is in the basement of the Howard Johnson’s. We shared the Calamari and Keith had Linguine with White Clam Sauce and I had Pappardelle Bolognese. We enjoyed it, but had no room for dessert.

... You get a choice of 2 sides, so he had grilled asparagus and a mesquite grilled half artichoke. I had the Lobster Bisque to start and then the Greenbone (New Zealand Butterfish) with asparagus and Parmesan Yukon Gold Potatoes. Everything was wonderful and the service was friendly, yet unobtrusive. We had no room for dessert.
