    ... br> The next day we do the Durango-Silverton Train Narrow Gauge Train Ride. The day was rainy and extreme cold once we got to Silverton. But the Silverton locals still say it was a warm day since in winter it can get as low as 10F on a good day.     ... four Contiki filled rafts and our tour guide loved to splash the others! At one stage we snuck up on one raft which led to a fight with even a couple of people falling into the cold river!

    We rafted down the Animas River which had beautiful scenery on both sides. We waved to people riding their bikes on a sunny Saturday morning.

    The rapids were smooth but we eventually rafted to dangerous sections and the tour ...

    ... and we have a lot of fun stuff planned including another trip from Grandma K, a road trip to Moab to see the Fontenots and meet their baby boy, the Himlies (my bro & fam) visit at the beginning of July and the four of us jump on a plane at the end of July for a family trip to Michigan.
