Just grabbed breakfast at McDonald's and gas after 2 hours on the road already. Stayed in Knoxville TN. It's been a wet and beautiful drive so far this morning. Of course it's just now daylight and starting to rain. We can tell we have gone north as we started out about 68 when we left hotel and by the time we stopped for gas we were all digging our sweaters out of the trunk. It is now 57 and dropping. ...

(For those of you not familiar with the challenge, it requires one to eat for a week ...

We are about three hours from our next destination in natural Bridge Virginia. We will be here approximately a week. Or I should say at least the trailer will be there, and possibly me, as I don't know what's happening relative to spending time in Maryland. We will ...

... be seeing the enthralling latest version of Jurassic Park. I am happy to report that I have managed to miss all the previous incarnations of this particular Hollywood dynasty, and I have to agree with Julia that a fourth movie is pretty suspicious: Seriously? Who would fund yet another attempt to populate some sort of tourist adventure with reconstituted dinosaurs after the first three disasters? Still, we are here, the drive-in is here, and we aren’t ...
