... in Lymington Geoff called into a hairdresser and lifting his hat asked for a price for a scissor cut. The very astute lady quickly said it's not a big job - I'll do it for a fiver and so the deal was done. Keith made me a lovely omelette for breakfast. They also made toast from their home-made bread with their rhubarb and ginger jam. Keith and Bridget were great hosts and there was plenty of chat over breakfast. I did not leave until 9.45 as I thought it would be a shorter day. ... and its got a lovely seaview. There is a beach river which kids can take a dinghy down to the sea whilst adults enjoy the view which extends around the coast to show a little island just down the coast.


If you need refreshments go to the Wave bar which serves local fish specialities and does take away.

I would write more, but I spent more time enjoying the sudden sunshine than I did exploring- and so should you! Go and explore!

River Cottage HQ day. Lazy morning around the park, tis a beaut day with all systems a go for our long awaited dining experience at the world famous establishment created by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
