We finally got to attend a Maori Heritage Experience when we got to Rotorua. Getting bussed out to the village we had to pick a "chief" from our bus to represent our tribe. There were 5 chiefs that had to stand in the circle as the Maori people danced around. One of them got chosen to accept a gift. ... have been happy paying $50 for a few minutes entertainment.

After these busy few days we decided to move a little further out of town to a campsite offering a 3 for 2 deal on stays and save ourselves a bit of money. This was cancelled out when we found a menu for Macs Steakhouse and treated ourselves to a slap up meal. Very nice it was too, although I really shouldn't have had the Chocolate dream dessert.
