... They did not serve any alcohol, but it was BYO (bring your own). So you were alowed to bring your own wine or beer! And so we did =)  28-03-12 Today we went to Akaroa. A small town about 2 hours driving from Christchurch. The town has a French influence. Yesterday we met some tourists with a car so we went with them. Saved us $50 each! =) Was fun. For our hosts we made some bacon/cheese pancakes and then we went out for a drink. Our last night was awesome! =) Tomorrow we will  leave ...

Early on Sunday 26 February we took the Interislander ferry from Wellington to Picton, and were extremely lucky with the weather as it was lovely and sunny all the way. As we left Wellington there were loads of dolphins swimming and jumping just next to the boat – great to see. As we were coming close to the south island we went past the most amazing scenery – the ferry has to sail into a sound to get to Picton, the port, and with the sun shining ...

... i grab the clear plastic bag from my headphones and prepare for the worst, not really caring about anything other than getting OFF the plane. Finally we land!
