otra vez por carretera hasta el taller, donde sustituyen la pieza perdida.

... We were invited to join them and apparently it’s rude to say no, so we ate their food, drank their drink and then joined in with the dancing. I met a really nice German girl called Juliane and we had a good couple of days seeing the sights of Nelson and went horse riding too. Back on the bus the next stop was Abel Tasman national park. ... at reception. The kitchen was the main attraction though. It is absolutely fantastic and huge to boot. Around twenty stations allowed around that many people to cook at any one time and it was always packed. It was just like being on Masterchef. Everyone is looking at what you're cooking and, quietly, judging you. Once back in town I was researching the cost of internal flights in Australia and was quite shocked by how expensive they are, although I will still be doing it (hopefully flying up to Cairns), but I will have to be careful with the rest of my budget. In the evening Kareen, me and a couple of other people watched 'My, Myself and Irene" in the tv room. Oz tommorow baby!!!!!!!!

... of my time here applying and waiting for visas to come, dancing in the studio here, and getting my blog up to date, which for once, it now is! I've actually really enjoyed my time here, and will be quite sad to be leaving. But I'm happy to be heading in the direction of home for a change. It has been nice being in the same place for a few weeks, rather than just a few days. People have even started asking me for directions, and I actually knew where the street was without needing a map!

... flying around and above me. It was so cool. Then, I decided to sit on a rock and just enjoy the scenery and the Lord, and my heart's cry was "Take me higher, even higher than the birds." Then, suddenly, a hot air balloon lifted off the ground in the distance. At first, the birds were flying higher than the balloon, but the balloon soon surpassed them. It was SO awesome! ... joka on suunnillee Hollannin kokoinen alue ja todella hyvää viljelys/laidunmaata. Ihmisiä Uudessa-Seelannissa on vähän päälle 4 miljoonaa ja lampaita joku 45 miljoonaa, että muutama tuli tässä matkalla nähtyä. Ei tarvitse illalla ainakaan enää lampaita laskea. Christchurch on hyvin raikas, miellyttävä kaupunki, asukkaita 368 000 ja jos ei tietäisi olevansa Uudessa-Seelannissa, niin luulisi takuulla olevansa jossain Englannissa ...

... the river. Usually there are more boats and they race, but they couldn't find enough volunteers this year we overheard someone say. After the boat, we got an ice cream and watched the kid races. The best were the littlest kids and some with the adults and kids together. Finally, we went to see the largest sheep being sheared named Shrek. He hadn't been sheared in two years and was just massive in size. The poor thing had been standing out in the sun all day in the thick coat ...

... a round the world trip, except she managed to go to Africa and is doing her tour the opposite way round to me, and mostly on actual tours like exodus. From 1st impressions she is lovely, if not a bit shy, but once you get to know her she is lovely and has the same sarcastic humour as me - we were like husband and wife when we got bickering. ... Aside from a couple of unexpected moments it went fairly smoothly.
Stu had all of our things outta the house a week or so before change of possession. Robert was out about 3 days before.

In
the end the thought of cleaning the place up just about did me in and
so we hired cleaners, which was the smartest move EVER! Long story
short, house was emptied, cleaned, and turned on over.... no dramas at
all :)
