... we walked down a track into a dense rainforest, with all types of semi tropical trees and the New Zealand ferns, which grow on a trunk to a height of six foot and then radiate out from the top the same diameter, like a giant umbrella. There was an amazing variety of bird sounds coming from the dense canopy above but we could only see glimpses of the birds as they flitted above us. Stopped for lunch in the oldest town on the South Island. Had a fantastic sandwich and mocha at Mrs. Clarks. Just another incredibly cute little New Zealand town with tons of historic old buildings. After leaving we stopped at Nugget Point which had incredible views with an active 19th century lighthouse and some seals.

Our camping and exploring trip in fiordland was soo nice. we had a really good time, and I took soo many pictures of the wonderful scenery. I spent my birthday in a coastal town in Riverton, unfortunatley the weather was ******, with rain and a really strong wind. Me bas and ramu, stayed in some deserted old campsite with nothing to do other than sit in the van! Thankfully we had some beer and some weed.
