... in the trees. We spent the next two days hiking to a few of the magnificent waterfalls. Some are just a short walk from the road, others required a two hour hike through forest, along rivers and down steep hillsides. Each time we were rewarded with the roar of the water and the clouds of mist surrounding the dramatic walls of water crashing to the rocks below. We stopped by a little secret beach, tied up the horses and had lunch. Halfway through our delicious snack i went and fed the horses some apple cores and some leaves but afterwards my horse looked as if she was having constipation. I was quite worried about getting back on but it was fine.

We rode back to the ranch and sat under Sarah's cherry tree to use her wifi.

It disappeared for a while and the other car drove off, but we hung about and the bear came back. It then crossed the road right in front of the car. It was pretty awesome for our first ...

... t just sit and wait the storm out.

So we headed north and east out of Prince George on Highway 16 toward Jasper. Our plan has been to travel on roads we’ve not used before; so we decided to take Highway 5 south from Tete Juane Cache to either Blue River or Clearwater, whichever one seemed a good place ...
