    As it happened, we did not attend the last day of the conference due to unforeseen circumstances. We spent a fairly quiet day; we did tour Little Rock a bit more. We found the Little Rock Central High School site (still a working high school).     ... she was dressed up as a clown. Her hair was spray painted pink with blue polka dots, she had clown make-up on and she was dressed in a brightly colored (mainly pink) outfit with a tutu. As soon as she saw J.P., she burst out in a big smile, handed him a Ring Pop as a present and asked him for a photo with her. I melted and it made John’s day.

    Crater of Diamonds was really nice. There were a couple of families staying by us that were so friendly – they had kids on spring break (including two boys about Dean’s age!) and invited us to hang out.   • Iris needed a break from the ride, and we saw a Camping World at the last minute. After some navigational issues, we got there and had a nice break. Tried to get fuel at the nearby Pilot station. Turns out my giant truck looks tiny surrounded by semis. Apparently Pilot doesn’t offer diesel at their regular pumps, so I tried to fill up ...
