Saturday morning dawned hot and windy. This area is very dry and the wind blew all night in huge gusts. Even though we had bought a bag of wood for a fire, there is a fire ban in British Columbia so we couldn't light the fire last night. Today Carol and Bruce have driven us higher into the mountains.
