Even though we had bought a bag of wood for a fire, there is a fire ban in British Columbia so we couldn't light the fire last night. Today Carol and Bruce have driven us higher into the mountains. We passed many huge bikes-must have ben coming come from a bikers rally in Sturgess North Dakota. Nobody has small cars or bikes here. Everyone has Large RV's, Big ...

night. We talked over a cup of tea before he ...

Howard quickly pulled over and yes, Conner was right. Cade our cub scout, ran and went to get a water bottle which we used to put out the small fire. Of course, our fire extinguisher wouldn't open up to work. After successfully putting out the small fire, we all looked at each other ...

... I had to cut up my hot house tomatoes before they would let us cross into the USA!) We stopped in the scorching heat in Havre to stock up on groceries, so by the time we arrived in Fort Benton it was almost 4pm.

Fort Benton is located on the Missouri River, so we are down in a beautiful river valley. The campsite is out in an almost industrial-ish area, but it is quiet, has clean bathrooms, and we have a nicely treed, shaded ...
