Saturday morning dawned hot and windy. This area is very dry and the wind blew all night in huge gusts. Even though we had bought a bag of wood for a fire, there is a fire ban in British Columbia so we couldn't light the fire last night. Today Carol and Bruce have driven us higher into the mountains. We passed many huge bikes-must have ben coming come from a bikers rally in Sturgess North Dakota. Nobody has small cars or bikes here. Everyone has Large RV's, Big ...

... tires still weren’t there should be there around 3:00. I was beginning to get nervous…remember they were closing at 4:30 till Monday, July 9th!

About 4:00 we went and hung out there waiting…..and the tires had just showed up! Woo hoo!!!! We paid the bill while they put the tires on, hooked up the hitch and at 4:27 we pulled out of the parking lot after many thank you’s!!!! We were back on the road heading North to Canada!!!! ...
