    We had a great day in Birmingham. We dropped into a local winery to taste some local flavours and chose a couple a bottles to take away with us. Yum!

    We have been preparing for our trip since we decided to go in March. This week we finalized all the accommodation reservations. I ordered a new purse: the thing came in yesterday and is astonishingly tiny! So cute! And it will leave my hands free to carry shopping bags.

    Today we are driving to Atlanta, the next to the last leg of this trip. We're going to meet up with Alexx, look at some apartments, have dinner with Alexx and then drive to Pam's house up in *******.
