We went for a 5 mile hike in the Hill Country and enjoyed the nice weather.
Garner State Park is closed for the anual December hunt of exotic animals.
There are lots of exotic game farms from 20 000 acres to 2000 acres. They make their money from hunts and the rare animal trade. Most of them are former sheep and goat farms.Funny to drive along on some country road and see a group of Siberian Ibex ...

We spent the entire day at Garner playing in the water, on the ropes swings, and the paddle boats. Jay climbed a super tall tree and jumped from the very top. I was freaking out but he loved it and kept doing it. So after we left Garner we cleaned up and went back for the dance. Justin, Mattheu, and Coby dance all night long! They really have ...

Day 3 - No Place to Float

The water is so low there is nowhere to float. So James, the boys, and I took the day to drive up the river to see if there were any places with flowing water. We drove through Garner and found the swimming hole which was pretty cool with paddle boats and rope swings. We kept driving north to Leakey and stopped to eat a piece of pie at Mill Creek restaurant. No luck in Leakey either so we came back to camp to get ready ...
