Easy day driving from Missoula, MT to Post Falls, ID.
We were able to help out a trucker who have a broken water line to his cab heater. He had water leak fixed before we arrived but we were able to drain enough fresh water out of our trailer tank to fill his radiator. We went out to supper and then opened bottle of champagne to celebrate our good fortunes on the road for one ...

Eventually, I reached Susan's house. She lives in Hauser, an itty bitty town outside of Post Falls, which is a larger small town outside of Coeur d'Alene. She lives with two very large dogs: Zeta (a German Shorthair) and Lily (an Irish wolfhound). ... out for...but then only for the bit of water on the surface of the highway. The Rest Area on the Montana side near the steep had taken a beating, however. There were snowbanks up to about six feet in height at the edges of the parking area. Winter has surely kept the Highway crews hopping. Shorty didn't seem to need a rest himself, but waited patiently while we did. I got a couple of shots of the area and hope to get them ...
