... this general prevalence, I have had many conversations with cyclists, travelling in all directions, who have run in to seemingly incessant headwinds, sometimes we'd even experience it on the same day which is downright bizarre.
A headwind, building throughout each morning, has accompanied most days since week one, and especially since reaching Manitoba, however the last few days riding into Regina have been some of the hardest, physically and psychologically of the journey ...
So we have been a bit delinquent in updating the blog, and will continue to be so for next day or two.
In the mean time, here are some photos from the oh-so-scenic 7hr drive from Regina to Calgary, done on Thursday, June 6.

Oh also for anyone who reads this and has advice please email me or leave a comment!! If you have a favorite music festival, hike or place to camp or any other advice I would love to hear it!! I have seen very little of Canada in the summer and I've been to only one music festival (Regina Folk Fest in 2008).

... gas station attendant that everything looked nicely topped up with the Element's fluids. He even said the drive belt looked just fine, which I had been a bit concerned about yesterday. ... Theresa crashed, I was wired as always so Aunty and I ate strawberries, grapes and caught up a bit. Nothing like going to bed at 2 am when you have to be up at 5:30.
Nothing eventful about the trip to PVR. The Regina airport was QUIET and sleepy, our plane not even close to full and after a 4 hour 20 minute flight, we landed 15 minutes early.
Finally...In Puerto Vallarta!! Ole!
