... br> Then came sparring. Her first match drew a competitor that was 2 1/2 maybe 3 times her size. Look at the photos! Kathryn did not hesitate. Kathryn went at her and matched her point to point. At one point the girl was getting angry that this little kid did not roll over or run. Kathryn had a back fist that was within regulation but knocked the wind out of her. Kathryn took 3rd place in sparring.

... and make arrangements to ship our jeep and bikes back to New Jersey. While there we plan on visiting Mendocino and some of the wine country before returning.

This is our last travelpod installment. Thanks for all those who followed us along and contributed to our blog. We had an amazing time...now...back to reality.

... tell it was going to be another very cold night and so after throwing together a very quick dinner and finishing the last of the chocolate cake to ease our now major depression, we went to have a nice hot shower before bed to warm us up, only to find that the water was freezing cold. We should have known it was too good to be true!

Meanwhile, we experienced some incidents of official corruption, mostly situations or drivers rather than we as passengers had to deal with, but they were not nearly as blatant or pervasive as I had been led to believe they would be. ... into Penn Station in the middle of Manhattan. Huge railway station but no you cannot transfer to Grand Central Station via the subway you would have to walk or take a taxi. Opted for the relatively cheap taxi ride straight to the hotel and was glad of it. It was further than original estimate and the ride was "interesting. memorable". How close were we to that adjacent vehicle? Wow I thought that taxis and driving generally in Grenada were something different. These guys ...
