... go in to detail but suffice to say that as animal lovers we found it very confronting. The second night we were there we went to Jemma el Fna , the large square in the centre of the Old Medina. That, also was confronting with snake charmers, monkeys, and very sad donkeys & mules, let alone the magnitude of people that were there. Not for claustrophobic people like myself.

... the evening the jama de Fena square transforms into this crazy, loud bustling market. The smell of the street food and spices are soooo tempting, there's fresh dates, and so many other fruits! We got 1/2kg of dates for just 30dirhum! (May be making date scones upon my return to the uk!) so many amazing things on offer. Beautiful scarves, the big fruit bowls, shoes, bags, and earrings.....sooooo many earrings!! I wish I could buy it ...

La Mamounia was reportedly Winston Churchill's favourite hotel. As a special honeymoon treat we got spa day passes, i loved every second. It was ridiculously opulent, three gentlemen were on hand at the pool to adjust sun loungers and move parasols, at lunch (at one of the Michelin star restraunts) the waiter brought out a small stool so i didn't have to put my (Dunnes Stores) handbag on the ...
... power just as it was getting dark. Coincidence that both points that we had tried had "tripped", but when you look at some of the motorhomes that the French are driving around, it's not really surprising.....a small sub station would be more appropriate!
