After a short break in the riad, we decided to tackle going for dinner in the market. By night many stalls were set up. The host at the riad mentioned No 14 is the best to go to- with fish, popular with the locals.

We were offered King's tea- made up of loose green tea, saffron, aniseed stars, juniper, ginsing, dried mint & strong crystal mint- topped with hot water- delicious :)
He then put powdered rose face mask on one of our hands and made us smell a black seeds wrapped in a cloth- it was intense, like a kick in the nostrils.

We stayed in Riad Jnane Mogador, on the ground floor. As we put down our bags, we wandered up onto the roof terrace and got a drink. Soon we heard the 5 mosques speaking/ singing out to each other- This was going to be part of our soundtrack of the trip. 5x a day.
