    It's our last day - so as we have half empty bags we have to fill them! So it's off to the souks to do some haggling. Lamps first - three coloured lamps for less than £15, bargains I think. Real leather babouches for 200 dirhams, some pots, a teapot and a lovely leather pouff. And a lovely punched metal lamp. Done. Lunch at bourganvillia - tasty pizzas! Back to pack our bags then off to the airport to head home. What a fantastic week, love Morocco, hope we'll be back ...

    ... a few more grey hairs over the incident but 'all's well that ends well'!

    On the way into Marrakech, we stopped for some refreshments. Pheonix, a member of our tour and a surgeon, cleansed Maurice's scalp wound and rebandaged it. After checking in to the hotel back in Marrakech, he went to the local hospital E.D. to have it sutured. He was seen and sorted almost immediately, Cost EU120.

    ... and singing, however most of us had a fairly early night, it had been a big day!

    We were up bright and early again the next day, to get to the top of the sand dune again, this time to see the sun rise. It was absolutely beautiful, and a rather surreal experience to be sitting watching the sun come up in the Sahara. Very cool.

    A hasty breakfast was followed by jumping onto the camels again, for another ride back to the van. Our trip back to Marrakech ...
