I had to get the ever busy manager to walk to the next dirt street to unlock the garage, and I gave him a lift back to the hotel in the sidecar, avoiding the rubbish and glass that litters the streets. February 8, 2012: El Jedida Well, we cruised right on by Casablanca on the freeway. Sorry Rick, we missed your café. I must admit some feelings of guilt, as it is a favourite movie, but apparently the medinas and casbahs we are seeing elsewhere are more representative of what Casablanca would have been like in the 40s anyway.

A Moroccan woman, who is built like a small ox, then slathered my entire body in a black olive oil soap and let me sit for a half hour. Then the fun begins. Chillin by the seaside
... tied up and then covered. At one point they removed our bags from the luggage uold brought them onto the bus to make more room for the animals. My least favourite part was when the animal pee was dripping down the window onto my seat. Imagine being ona bus for 10 hours that smelt like the worst part of the zoo. LOL.
Just get us to Casablanca already...hahhaahah.
