... in some cases. Richmond getting smashed was also disappointing but kind of what I have come to expect. After visiting a Mosque in the morning we made our way back to Marrakech where we had started the tour. Half the group were doing their best not to spew or poo on the bus so it wasn't the most enjoyable trip. Stace's famous last words at breakfast that she hadn't been sick came back to haunt her as she started getting big stomach cramps. She pushed ...

We headed out to Essarounia from here, and also we'd come back for an evening before the desert trip, and once again for just one night before we pop up to fes. Where we're staying is a lovely little Riad, right in the heart of the Medina. There's ...

... behind the winding road up to the mountains is breathtaking both for its beauty and complex navigation. Abdul drives very carefully, like someone who has saved long and hard to buy his car and tells us that when he worked for Virgin he made the 150km trip 4 times a day.

Imil is the gateway to the mountains where we meet Ebrahim our guide for the day. Our 5 hour trek offers beautiful vistas of the mountains and valleys. Ebrahim brings us to his home, the highest ...

... Marrakech, just waiting for the short (50) minute flight to Tangier to board. It's been an adventure so far, highlights have been the cooking class and the day trip to Essaouria. It was unfortunate that Eid meant that we didn't get to spend more time exploring Marrakech's souks, but I'm pretty sure that the next week in Tangier and Fez will give us plenty of time to look and shop!
P.S. No photo's yet as I managed to forget my memory card reader! Hopefully will pick one up within a few weeks.
