      ... are it for English first language speakers for miles around. It is quite rural and lovely. And very tropical in appearance.

      We left Sorrento about 10:20 am this morning in our rental car with Larry as the sole driver for the next week. We are now committed to drinking the extra €160 it would have been for the second driver, Gary, in Sicilian wine.       A 4:30 start had us pack our final few things and then follow the coast line to the airport as the sun rose over the ocean. Not many beach goers at this hour but we did see one or two people out, believe it or not. There was a dog laying on the pavement sound asleep.       ... down to our place to be safe and to watch as it burned and spread a bit before the fire department finally came from somewhere (they apparently don't have one here). It was a bit too close for comfort but I guess what happened is that the men chopping around the olive trees had not cleared the brush at the base so it caught and spread.       ... and dancing. Even my aunts got into the spirit and joined the conga line and were constantly being dragged in to dance. Truth be told, I think they loved it!! The wonderful thing here is that families attend these things, so you have children dancing with their siblings, their cousins, parents and grandparents. It was wonderful to watch and be part of.
