This is a great area to come for a slow down and relax, beach stay at the bottom of the boot of Italy.
Our apartment is in a resort complex with an fantastic terrace and pool on the roof.
The kids loved swimming all day and we loved watching the stunning and beautiful sunsets each night up there.
Tropea is a cool town with a great vibe and many restaurants and little streets.

It is super short you can see the town from our resort.
We walked into town and after that we got a takeaway pizza and went to the beach to eat it.
The beach was nice after a hot walk around town.
Riley, Zara and me jumped into the water straight away.
The water was crystal clear and super nice.

Today we arrived at a new stay.
And this stay is a resort an there is like 15 units and a pool bar. And we ended up driving into a nearby town called Tropea. But when we got home we got on our swimmers and jumped straight in the pool.
And we played in there for about 2 hours.
Ended up as a good moving day.

The plan today was to cycle north along the coast to explore Marina de Nicotera which is apparently 3 km’s away via a cycle path from the campsite. We would then head on along the coast to Capo Vaticano and Tropea to marvel at its dramatic position and captivating prettiness.

The birthplace of Archimedes(you remember the book Mr Archimedes bath) and chosen island for Mafia. There are quite a few mafia type souvenirs around the little shops, along with lava from Mt Etna, which was smoking satisfactorily when we were leaving.
