    ... in another beautiful country.

    To be honest about Lagos, there is not a huge amount to do apart from sit on a beach and enjoy the nightlife. But to be fair, both of those are very good. We just came a little unlucky having arrived in a couple of overcast days with the water being very cold.

    ... seem to speak some English, but they are delighted when do don't have to - RESPECT! Yay Kate! Very warm welcomes and huge smiles seem to be the default attitude here. Although it's hot - about 30 degrees each day we were here - the city has thousands of trees and gorgeous shady squares where the temperature drops by 10 degrees and a refreshing breeze cools the happy flaneur at every turn ....oh joy and rapture ...

    ... about a 30 minute walk we found ourselves at the Praia do Camilo which is a world famous beach.

    On the way we found a nice little shop to get a few ciders for the hot walk. Once we arrived the golden sands were stunning and it had a uniquely african feel to it from the surrounding rock formations in the cliffs.
