... that we'd visit. I'm happy we were able to meet more people, especially people that we live near.

We went over to their house after dinner, met them, and talked to them for a few hours. It was a nice change-up since we didn't have anything planned that night. We were informed about bus2alps and programs and made friends with most of the people next door.

After hanging out for a couple of hours, we came home and went to bed.

After the tour we decided to get some food with our newfound French friends and after a feed of fruit, we agreed to walk up the hill of Michellangelo. We passed the famous gold bridge of Florence and after a quick stop at a gelato store we climbed the steps up the hill. ... get in for tea at 7 pm. It's now 6:30 pm. Quiet night planned for tonight - our bags are already in our rooms and we have been given our room key. Thursday morning Just a note about our rooms. In Italy we have been introduced to bidets - interesting concept! Also the alarm cord in the showers. We were told not to try and hang washing from the cord or we would have the rescue team coming in! Most of the rooms have had single beds, flat pillows and European pillows. Some have been ...
