Today is beach day, but before going to the beach we would visit a small town (old fisherman village) called Marzememi. first of all the trip that looked easy on the map turned out to be a long trip through forgotten streets in the middle of nowhere. Colored wash was a different story, all went into the machine, but the machine would never go to the end of ...

... art deco furnishings and beautiful black and white marble stair cases. Guests' rooms have high ornate ceilings with beautiful intricate friezes, and french doors leading out onto balconies overlooking the azure Mediterranean and the quaint sun bleached houses of the Sicilian Ionian coastline. It is a lovely hotel in a stunning location.

Lovely as it was however, the staff appeared unhappy and somewhat distant and disinterested with ...

... The public came together for long days of performances, which were considered to be acts of worship by the actors and audience.
Under Roman rule, this theater continued to be used for dramatic performances, but soon was transformed into an arena for gladiatorial games. The theater's stage was modified over 5 times from Greek to Roman times. Tunnels were carved out for gladiators and animals and the orchestra was expanded, eliminated some of ...
