... delayed 25 minutes and then an hour and now we're to leave at 9:00. The safety lights in the cabin weren't working and I think they just finally gave up on that plane and moved us all to a new gate. We're all now waiting - an overbooked flight - for the new plane to arrive. It's enough to make me go in search of some good bourbon. Hell, even some not so good ...

... filled our fresh water tank 1/3 of the way full (about 17 gallons). We noticed that when we turned on our electric water pump, it stayed on consistently. That is not good! So we turned it on only when we needed. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I had left the outside shower valve on. So when we turned the pump on, we pumped water through the shower to the ground. That was not a big deal as we had plenty of water for the toilet. But ...

... people], and were enjoying the difficulty of the terrain. Though we didn't encounter many people on our Trail #3, the ones that were out there had that adventuresome spirit to be that far into the perimeter of the State Park. On the map the Park has nine trails altogether, and I'm pretty sure we were on the most difficult. Like always! Obviously, us pro hikers can take any challenge, while the rookies kept to the easy trekking.

... years. It is a very nice place. And lucky for us this fall season, we have had some extremely nice weather conditions to just sit around camp, do some day-tripping adventures, and sometimes even sleep in.... at least to 8 am.

In scouting out this particular area, we discovered this to be a mecca for covered bridges and scattered historical places. There are a few Amish communities around, but not in the abundance ...
