Though we didn't encounter many people on our Trail #3, the ones that were out there had that adventuresome spirit to be that far into the perimeter of the State Park. On the map the Park has nine trails altogether, and I'm pretty sure we were on the most difficult. Like always! Obviously, us pro hikers can take any challenge, while the rookies kept to the easy trekking.

... draws tourist attention. We saw only a couple of horsedrawn buggies, and they were trotting on the side-roads. One buggy had three teenage boys going somewhere.... probably going to the neighborhood farm to find their girlfriends. We were in need of some traditional maple syrup [100% stuff] and by chance found an Amish farm that had a good supply. What was our hint? One, we could see the maple trees in the far distance ...

... who is with the local Lion's Club. She reminded me immensely of a friend from my past and we clicked instantly. She's been a huge support of the circus and is hoping that we can come back again next year. After the show, she gave me a hug and we became Facebook friends. I mean, that's what you do now when you meet people, right? I'm glad that we'll have a chance to stay in touch!
