      ... USD which compared to somewhere like Mayfair doesn’t seem that much.

      I wasn’t particularly sorry to leave LA, but one thing I am beginning to notice is the unfailing courtesy and helpfulness of the Americans. Their only drawback is their constant gum chewing – one of my pet hates! The roads are quiet in the sense that there is sensible driving and no horns blaring all the time. I’m impressed!

      ... smaller coffee shops (Looney Bean, Ritual, Cafe Soleil) over the last week or so we realised that Starbucks coffee wasn't very nice at all. Lesson learnt!
