      Out of a chance discussion with one of the hotel staff (thanks Carrie) about things to do in and around the area I learned of the Cross-Country skiing and snow-shoeing facility at the Chaplin Forest Reservation. As I have never tried either, off I went and had a great time - spent an hour getting use to Cross-Country skiing and then did an hour of Snow-Shoeing and enjoyed it too. Had I known earlier I would have gone several more times.

      In Ohio, and a few other states, they salt the roads during Winter to help keep them free of ice and snow. Unfortunately, it has a few less desirable side affects.       ... highways today, avoiding the 90. Headed towards the water (Lake Erie) to follow it once past Toledo. Bypassed Toledo pretty much then tried to stop into a casino, Hollywood Casino, but it was obviously not open, probably didn't open till 10am..... maybe this is a subtle hint.
