... was seeing their clothes lines run up to the top of poles. The whole countryside is dotted with little towns, houses over hills and little simple single room schools. We passed several horse and buggies trotting sling on their daily business. After a nice long back roads drive with a couple of stops we came back to the cabin for a restful afternoon, playing a bit of pool on the pool table and of course, kicking the footy outside AND repacking suitcases to get ready for the next move ...

... face! We used a different route back to Berlin, a bit quicker this time and although it was close to 9pm we still encountered some Amish horse and buggies on the road. On the front they have a couple of head lights, a bit like a car but positioned all wrong, and on the back a couple of red tail lights plus a flashing orange light and a lit up red triangle. Some very tired little boys tonight and they have only just finally settled down and going to sleep, 10.52pm............ ...

... to undress a bit and get some air while we went in a bought a bucket and some wipes, water and some bags. We wiped down the car a bit and Cooper was feeling much better..... All good, back on the road!! Cooper went to sleep, which was good but a bit of a worry how he might wake up. Everyone else donned there head phones and iPads and were set. ... just missed the hurricane coming in from the Pacific...we went from temps in the mid 90s and 90+ humidity to low 60s and low 40s last night...burr. Just what I expected for Ohio. Where'd summer go?

I know a ton of mail is awaiting for us and Richard will pick it up tomorrow. It was nice to be back in our own bed...but I sure miss those good cooks & our cabin steward! We are now back to ...

... size. There was even a bank inside the store. No need to go outside in the cold to do the different bits of shopping. Chibattas were available today too.

Was sunny when we left Marysville but 40 minutes later it was cloudy again. Took the freeway - 3 or 4 lanes each way into Detroit. Being Saturday, the traffic was not bad. Had a chance to drive around. Lots of road work in the city and some restorative work on buildings. ...
