... the back porch. He's very cute and friendly with some funky ears going on which I expect is the result of some brother/sister "activity"!! But cute and friendly all the same. The boys have just gotten back, they've done very well, drinks, bread, ham, cheese, some more margarine, two tubs of ice cream..... Everything we need for a good simple tea. Well done boys!! ... You can buy EVERYTHING from Walmart, including Daisy BB guns straight off the shelf!! There is also a counter with other guns behind it, like rifles and shot guns. It is like a KMart (but much better and much much cheaper) and a Coles all smashed into one. One of Coopers big front teeth fell out in Chicago and the tooth fairy managed to find him and left him two U.S. $1.00 bills. He bought himself two packets of tic tacs with his money, with a huge toothless grin ...
Today is a 6 hour road trip!!! We got up a bit earlier this morning trying to get an early start. We had breaky then headed back up to our room to pack. We have a separate duffle type bag that is accumulating goodies to send home in a box. Once we got all packed up, the boys lugged it all down to the lobby while I did a last room check to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything. As I was leaving the room I could see a quick glimpse down to the lobby ...

Went to Dearborn which was the home town of Henry Ford. It is now a suburb of Detroit. Looked to be quite affluent. Went to The Henry Ford which is an 8 acre building housing the treasures Henry Ford had collected and then some more. We saw the car which Kennedy was in when he was shot - it has been modified for later presidents. Also saw a huge steam ...
