Time to head home! :(

After one last yummy free breakfast at the hotel, we got a luggage cart, which Reagan had fun riding (parents of the year right here!), and headed back up to the hotel room to get all of our luggage, and started loading up the car! Its always sad to head home after a fun vacation.

Drove down from Grand Rapids to Gun Lake. Moved into Jim and Jean's cottage at the Lake, in her family forever. Perfect place to recover from jet lag/persistent cough, and get WARM. ... town. It was typical diner food, burgers, hot dogs, nachos, delicious ice cream, but it was reasonable and delicious and the experience couldn't be beat!

After lunch and a walk on the docks to check out the boats we headed back to Oval Beach. ... At the end we went out the opposite end of the beach and got to see the parks namesake tunnel! It was really cool to see the lake through the tunnel, I can definitely see why a lot of couples in the area have their wedding pictures taken there. We didn't get a chance to see the sunset from there but I bet it would be absolutely gorgeous!
