... have collected close to a hundred bags. Texas needs a Bottle Bill!

We hit the road about 11AM. We wanted to take a different route home so we headed for Abilene which we did not go through on the way. Abilene, Abilene, Prettiest Town I've Ever Seen....NOT! Anyway the topography changed from cotton fields to grazing ground in shrub mesquite, cactus areas to arid rocks and desert type land. Eventually we got to ...

On our way back to Llano stopped in Marble Falls and met John and Wanda for lunch and to catch up on what was happening and where they were going next. Nice visit and then off to Llano.

No one can understand like mothers how important it is to get the whole family together. Doing it in Texas was extra ...

So sweet! Her mom informed her she will have to take a lot more swim lessons. The favorite show for all three children was "Azul." The show featured Beluga Whales, pacific white sided dolphins, tropical birds, and aquatic acrobats. One of the acrobats ...

Gathered at Sara & Colum's for breakfast tacos from Dan's Hamburgers. It has become a tradition of ours ever since Chad & Monica introduced them to us. I have yet to have a hamburger from Dan's Hamburgers but they have the best breakfast tacos in town. We spent the day exploring the Splash Parks in Austin. Not sure if the temperature reached100 degrees but it sure seemed like it. The children loved the splash pools and the adults looked for ...
