... shutting down at 5. We fancied a coffee but everywhere was closed by 5.30 and the whole city seemed to be boarding a bus home. We did the same and headed back for dinner in Noarlunga. Next day we headed back east towards Victoria. Decided to get a good part of the drive done the first day and shared the driving for 6.5 hours. ... had a good look around, gave the seven or so Al's a stroke and then headed off back to Geelong and then to Torquay at the start of our Great Ocean Road Journey. We passed through Anglesea and the Surf Coast to spend the night at The Anchorage in Lorne. Today we started with 16km of very steep hill climbing! A very tough start on a cold, wet morning with weary legs. But everyone powered up with Lachy's long legs leading the way and Mary Anne close behind. Tessa started the day with a flat tyre and needed to get them both replaced.
