... moors. The pink and purple of the heather makes for beautiful scenery, however they do lack the Wuthering Heights type bleakness of a few days ago and in Scotland. Only 3 more days to go now, the time has gone so quickly thanks to reasonably good weather, new boots and interesting people along the way. Spent a lovely afternoon in the sunshine, balancing on logs ( it had to be done) and eventually made our way back to the car. We were going to go back to the site and then go back in to Keswick for chippies but the traffic was soooooo bad we decided just to stop en-route park ...

... sweet shop not the dog shop!) Then it was back to the site up the bloody great hill for a well earn't beer and shower. Tea of French pizza and fried French potato cubes ( blooming delicious). Spent the rest of the evening sat outside the van chatting with Deb n Howard, using Miss Meg as a hot water bottle, no clouds tonight so had got a tad chilly. Lots of Ooooo do you remember this place in Wigan tonight, but all in all a lovely evening. Off on another walk tomorrow. ...
