Lovely weather for the run up to Taupo along Route 5, which twists, climbs, and dips its way through the mountains. We stopped at Waipunga Falls viewpoint on the way (spectacular!), and had lunch (in the car, due to the flies!) not too far from Taupo. ... 45 seconds before we saw the raft, but they survived. Then it was our turn. Again, we had to paddle up to the fall and the command was to get down and hold on for dear life. Oh my god, I thought I was gonna fall out, but somehow, I was wedged in so tightly I couldn't move. we got to the quiz and met lewis and jodie again, did really well at the quiz lewis had to do a tiebreaker question and had to perform as many sex positions as he could with jodie in 60 seconds, he managed to get 12 but the other team beat us with 17 shame you won a load of free accommodation.
