It's sad to leave our buds in Indianapolis, but we had to start making our way West. ... and headed out to get a look at the city in the last bit of daylight. Downtown St Louis is a huge place but the streets seemed pretty empty. We headed down to 'The Gateway" which stands on the edge of the Mississippi (the border between Illinois and Missiouri) It looks over St Louis, and was built to symbolise the westward expansion of the USA. ... and Josh tried to school me in the basics of Baseball (turns out I understood it better than I thought I did) with the St Louis Cardinals game. I think its a game that is rarely more enjoyable on TV than live. It didn't seem as slow when you could actually see what the players were doing.
