After a wonderful summer spent east of the Mississippi, we are finally heading west. Everything is crammed into a 5x8 trailer, our spirits are high, and we raring to go! Our guardians for the trip are Voltron, Defender of the Universe, and a Pink Unicorn/Pegasus. And of course, MAZYWANKENOBI. So much gratitude to everyone who we visited during this enchanted summer. They had a full campground in a parking lot next to the beach (State Park). Sail boat races in the bay. Bike paths, real nice town (went to the Buskers night in center of town). Labra doodle with a cocker spaniel mix dog-adorable.
... catches. There was a regatta into the channel with water cannons and all so the girls had fun watching the "giant fountain." The crowd was mostly families but then around 2pm a "scooter gang" of about 3 dozen riders invaded - very young and strange crowd. We rolled into Covert, MI yesterday afternoon to our first KOA - a very sweet family owns it and the service has been better than some high end resorts we've stayed in!
