The Aran Islands
Our second morning in Doolin, the five of us booked tickets on a ferry to get out to the Aran Islands. Carmel, the owner of our hostel, offered to drive us to the pier so we wouldn't have to walk, which was even better because the pier was quite a hike and we needed to be there by nine in the morning. Finals in Ireland - A New Experience
... one could leave the exam hall until all the exams were collected. So I had to go back to the gym and walk by all those people who failed to inform me I couldn't leave and go sit back down at my seat. Then they had to count the exams for all 500 people in the exam hall to make sure they had all the papers before we could leave. Oh and everyone writes their exams in pen…. weird. Yes, people still drank Guinness, yes they told funny stories and laughed the night away, yes members traveled from throughout the country to enjoy the festivities, but while the Frank Harte festival buzzed ...

This place was great in that it was clean and spacious. However, I could never find the hostel owner. Also, there is no ATM in Doolin and the hostel only takes cash so plan ahead.
